Befriend your nervous system.
Find peace with food.
When you participate in the online “Peace with Food Transformation Group,” you will join a small group on a weekly 7-month exploration of the neurobiological patterns that have been at the root of your eating habits and suffering.
With carefully curated knowledge and embodied somatic practices, you will change those patterns and build emotional capacity, resiliency, and stability.
With gentle encouragement and steady practice, you, too, can find peace with food.
“I stand here more in my body than ever before and loving it. Galina is a true master, mystic, and a wizard that embodies neuro-regulation. She holds space with so much love, grace, and gnosis that you will not find elsewhere. Give yourself the gift of working with Galina.“
Aleksandra Filipovic MD, PhD, London, UK
Your body is the answer.
An invitation to come home
If you’ve tried every diet and eating plan out there and still feel like you can’t eat “normally” – this is for you. The Transformation Group works directly with your body – bottom up – so that you can take care of yourself with confidence and competency, without needing to manage your uncomfortable states and emotions with food.
Your nervous system is intelligent, faithfully dedicated to your survival, and surprisingly robust. It has done its best to help you cope with distress your whole life. When you greet the ways you have survived with empathy and clarity, you can find new ways to support yourself in the present moment, free from the automatic habits of the past.
You’re NOT “addicted” to food.
Your body is doing the best it can to protect you.
You may find yourself eating when you are not hungry, not being able to stop, or restricting and not trusting your body, but that doesn’t make you an addict. Your nervous system has worked tirelessly to protect you from the impact of overwhelming life events, and the way you have been eating is very much a part of your survival story.
Now, beginning from this moment, you can start to gently guide yourself towards safety and ease. Together, we will discover how your body is protecting you and offer new ways of being through tested, structured, evidence-based somatic practices. I’ll help you turn these practices into self-paced routines that you can use to support yourself in times of distress, and to guide your body into a place of regulation and safety.

Barbra Drizin
I am now present and whole!
“I remember when we began this work, and you asked what I felt in my body. I felt nothing. I didn’t know what “feeling in my body” meant. I only knew how to get away and to find the escape routes.”
Amanda Dawn
I can enjoy food!
“Food took up so much time and energy and headspace! I had so many rules and thoughts and there were so many choices! Now I can make a food decision with more ease, flexibility, and less worry! I can enjoy the food!”
Sue
I am connected to my body!
“With the Peace with Food Transformation group, I remember I was like – oh my gosh, how do you know! How do you know that I’ve struggled with food my whole life? It was super powerful!”
Freedom. Finally.
I learned to listen!
I can now deeply listen and trust the cues and messages of my body. I bring curiosity to my body signals and playfully communicate with it.
I learned to recognize my needs and taking in nourishment. For example, I don’t have to over-eat so I get glued to the couch and finally watch my favorite movie…. I can give it to myself graciously and directly.
I became more present to my personal and professional relationships…I realized I value attuned presence over doing, solving, fixing, and making impressions.
I created a space inside that enables me to set boundaries and speak up for my needs.
I am forever thankful for this opportunity!

Transformation Group StudentThis year was different!
I went through years of bingeing. This year I had Christmas and it was just Christmas. No more obsessing and struggling with food!
I am also not working and efforting so much, I am more present with my clients in my work and I am confident in what I know.
Tina
P.W.F. Transformation Group Student, Michigan, USEffortless and organic!
The group is a brilliant, beautiful blend of learning, healing, and experiencing in a crucial yet untouched part of me.
Even though nervous system language and concepts were completely foreign to me, I have found that it is an integral part of our being that can be deeply affected by trauma and needs to be addressed and healed!
Approaching things from a nervous system perspective in this group has been a game-changer and the healing comes organically, as a by-product of participating in the group and engaging in the nervous system practices. It is not something forced or efforted into existence.

Transformation Group StudentGalina is a true master!
I entered Galina’s Peace with Food program in the summer of 2022 after some years of significant healing work and practices to resolve childhood trauma and to learn how to regulate my nervous system.
Galina’s program is truly one of a kind, in its intention, content, context, potency, integrity and relatability. It is fully practical; it will change all areas of your life in the direction of truth and peace. I stand here more in my body than ever before and loving it.
Galina is a true master, mystic and a wizard of embodies neuro regulation. She holds space with so much love, grace and gnosis that you will not find elsewhere. Give yourself the gift of working with Galina and her team. It is an experience that reshapes your inner world so your outer world becomes a reflection of the true you.

Transformation Group StudentI am dancing, I am free!
For 30 years it was so scary to feel anything in my body.
Today I have a connection with my body, I can just land in myself in a deeply integrated way.
Every day and every week I am becoming more and more present.
There is nothing to be afraid of anymore.
The group was so helpful!
I found the structure, meeting at the same time every week, having group meetings, having the 1-1 sessions, the journal prompts, the home practices, our discussion group – having this small community of support – all of it was stabilizing and made everything different for me!
I am listening to music more freely, and enjoying it a ton!
And I move to the music, too!
That is tremendous for me – I went from “we don’t do that” to “let’s move, let’s dance!”
I dance all the time now, I am free!
Daniel
Transformation Group StudentPossibilities for growth!
My biggest take away from the group is that I have been struggling to feel love, compassion and acceptance for myself my whole life.
The missing piece is that without being embodied, I could not love myself the way I do now, because you can’t love something that isn’t there, and for so long I have not felt that I have been fully here.
To feel connected to myself and this physical world opens up incredible possibilities for mental, emotional and spiritual growth.
That is something that no amount of psychology or book learning could have given me. I’m forever grateful!
Amy
Transformation Group StudentI don’t turn to food anymore!
I was at a very low point in my life and had a very unhealthy relationship with food.
I truly understood how I was harming myself with food and using it as a coping mechanism. I signed up for the course and boy, what I got was way more than I bargained for.
Understanding the effect that trauma has had on my nervous system and the cascading impact that has led me to have unhealthy coping skills with food was mind-blowing!
With the help of Galina’s knowledge and teaching, I can quickly draw on the tools learned in class, re-regulate myself to a grounded state, and not turn to food to soothe myself. The joy of this class has been rediscovering who I am without the experiences and traumas that have defined me for so long!
It was an honor to share my story and experiences with my group and vice versa. We have much more in common with people than we know!
I awaken my nervous system by dancing daily and enjoying connecting to my five senses in nature…YES, even hugging a tree!
I can truly say this experience has changed my life!

Transformation Group StudentA small group designed just for you
A safe, brave space.
Dear one, you’re not alone. After years of coping with difficult emotions, being at war with your body, and struggling through each day, please know that it’s not a one-person job to heal. Healing is a long-term process that incorporates many parts. In the Transformation Group, we’ve created a space for you and those like you. It’s a safe space and a brave space. It was made for you and your journey.
Not just knowledge, but knowing.
Information about trauma imprints and the nervous system is abundant. Reading a book or taking a course can give you valuable insight, but somatic change needs you to slow down and learn to hear your body in real time. Our space is created with you in mind – so that each time you show up, you turn insight into real-life transformation.
A stable home for support.
When you’re in the middle of a food struggle, it can feel like your whole life is unstable, and there’s nothing you can count on. Let the Transformation Group be your pillar of support as you gain tools to reduce overwhelm, settle emotions, and stabilize other areas of your life.
“What Galina teaches has changed my life completely. My relationship with food, my body, myself and others is everything I want it to be now. The guilt of being me and setting boundaries has shifted and I am now living life on my terms.“
-Derek, Peace with Food Transformation Group Member
For many who need help with food, the advice on moving forward can feel overwhelming and ineffective. When you try to go it alone, it can be easy to misdiagnose why you eat as you do — leading to shame, guilt, and frustration.
That’s why I created the Peace with Self, Peace with Food Transformation Group – to offer a simple, step-by-step change process where you can learn the science-based somatic practices to gently re-write your body’s coping mechanisms. Hundreds of students have found greater freedom through learning with a Transformation Group. Wouldn’t you like to have that kind of life-changing support, too?
-Galina Denzel, author and creator of Peace with Self, Peace with Food Transformation Group
Work with Galina and her team of mentors, so that you can change your physiology, gain greater nervous system capacity and build a true foundation to have life long peace with food.
When you join a 7 Month Transformation Group you will not only receive life changing nervous system education, but also learn a proven method with step by step guidance for embodying the principles which allow you to listen to your body, trust your body and nourish yourself with ease.
Each 7 month program comes with:
1. Our signature My Body Manual class:
This online class prepares you for the learning, so that everyone has the same theoretical knowledge once we begin. It also introduces the expectations, responsibilities and 12 principles of group communication. This helps build a safe and coherent container for the work.
2. Weekly meetings in a small group (4-6 journey-mates)
The sessions give you the psychoeducation and somatic practices you need to organize your biology and move towards peace with food as soon as you start.
3. Weekly office hours to ask questions and practice together
This is a chance to embody the work further and ask all your questions about implementing the tools in real life, get support for areas of challenge and enjoy the care of a loving community
4. Monthly individual mentoring
Your individual mentor is with you from the start to the end of the program, helping you with individualizes practice tailored to you, and is there to hold your hand steady in difficult moments
5. A tool-kit of sensory support toys
Galina hand selects a package of sensory toys to support the nervous system – both for focus and integration. Those come in the mail as soon as you sign up and are yours to use forever.
6. Multiple layers of support
In our school we believe that every student does best when multiple people care for their needs and support their learning. There are 6 of us on our team who make sure all your learning and tech needs are taken care of.
7. Online community
Each small group has a dedicated private and secure space online, where we connect daily, ask questions, get feedback and encouragement to live the nervous system work in ways that transform not just our bodies, but our lives.
8. Aftercare
The 7 month program includes 3 months of aftercare. You are welcome to weekly office hours as you digest and integrate the learning and you are also invited to one month in the Transformed Collective – the graduate space where you can live the practices weekly together with other alumni of the program. If you love the aftercare graduate space – you can become a member and continue to have a home for your somatic exploration and peace with food.
9. Online Library Lifetime Access
Each session in the group is recorded and together with the audiovisual and printed support materials is available to you after graduation for as long as you would like to learn with it.
10. Access to Master Classes and Special Programs
Our school offers multiple master classes each year, which are free for anyone currently enrolled in a 7 month group. These classes are open and paid for the public.
11. Exclusives Invite to in Person Intensives with Galina
Once graduated from a 7 month Transformation Group, you can take part in live in person intensives with Galina. These intensives happen by invite only and are only available to graduates as a certain level of nervous system organization is required.
Our Curriculum will lead you through these steps:
1.
Find Embodied Stabilization and Safety
We begin by helping your body feel more grounded and supported—physiologically and emotionally. This creates the conditions for change by shifting your nervous system out of survival and into a possibility for embodied safety. As the rest and digest system begins to function better, the cycles of intensity which drive emotional eating and restriction begin to quiet down.
2.
Reconnect with the Sensory System
You’ll gently wake up your five senses—and your interoception (the 6th inner sense)—to rebuild trust in your body’s real-time experience. Sensory integration allows you to feel more present and oriented in the world. This is also a very necessary step if due to trauma and injury your senses are on the defense – you can find what nourishes your senses and over time what helps you nourish your body as a whole.
3.
Learn to Track and Presence Body Sensations and Emotions
Here you’ll develop the ability to notice what’s happening inside you—moment by moment—without overwhelm. This is where regulation begins: feeling without flooding, hosting everything that arises without trying to get rid of it or being overcome by it. As a result, emotions can be messengers and not something to suppress and try to escape from.
4.
Master Working with Thoughts and Negative Bias
We bring compassionate awareness to internal narratives shaped by trauma, shame, or culture. You’ll learn how to pause, question, and soften automatic thoughts that feed the cycle of suffering. We do this not by throwing more thoughts in the mental fire, but by resourcing the body with touch, movement, breath and art – making sure that helpful thoughts stay, and unhelpful thoughts begin to dissolve.
5.
Integrate Cranial Nerves, Breath, and Digestion
This step supports the physiology of rest and nourishment – the ventral system. By working with the vagus nerve, breath, and digestive rhythms, we invite deep repair in the systems most impacted by chronic stress. Many of us choose great food only to find that the body can’t receive it. Integrating the nerves impacted most by stress is a powerful step towards healing.
6.
Create a Personal Nervous System Map
You’ll get to know your own unique patterns—what safety feels like, how dysregulation shows up, and what helps you come back to center. This map becomes a powerful tool for self-understanding and choice. It also helps you find acceptance for how your physiology responds, and gives the right resources to embody the nervous system states, so that the frequency, intensity and duration of distressing episodes decreases.
7.
Learn Self-Massage and Nervous System Resourcing Through Movement, Art, and Somatic Practices
You’ll explore supportive practices that bring calm, pleasure, and embodiment—accessible tools that regulate and nourish you, through your hands, massage tools, and techniques which help hydrate fascia, muscles and organs. We rarely talk about this in the somatic healing space, but without touch our traumatized tissues don’t know how to come back to health.
8.
Restore the Organic Nourishment Cycle Through Embodiment Practices and Relational Movements
We reawaken the natural rhythm of clarity, action, satisfaction, and rest—so that feeding yourself becomes intuitive, relational, and satisfying again. This model of working with food is life-changing and allows you to find exactly what your body needs so you can listen to it and meet its needs. Over time this allows cycles of restriction and overfeeding to fall away, because you are able to know what you need and you trust the voice of the biology.
9.
Dissolve Barriers to Nourishment, Invite Co-Regulation and Reciprocal Giving and Receiving
Many of us struggle to receive or to be met. In this step, we soften the protective strategies that once kept us safe and allow ourselves to experience connection, nourishment, and mutual support.
It is within the connection and communication in the group that we find care, attunement and generosity for others, and over time, for ourselves too.
10.
Learn How to Work with Triggers, Survival Strategies, and Alternate Timelines
You’ll gain tools to navigate activation with compassion—noticing when younger parts of you take over and learning how to return to your present-day self with care.
Instead of working with the inner child physiology directly, we strengthen the presence of the embodied adult form – and find how much easier it is to weather triggers.
11.
Strengthen an Embodied Sense of Adult Consciousness and Authentic Adult Self
Here you’ll step more fully into your inner leadership—developing a deeper sense of agency, presence, and the ability to care for younger or protective parts with maturity and tenderness. Instead of being blended or hijacked by these younger timelines, you can stay present in the adult physiology and help yourself in the here and now. What’s more you get to feel what it’s like to have a developed sense of self, and not just dream about being more authentic.
12.
Tune into the Blueprint and Live from the Blueprint
You’ll reconnect with your original blueprint for thriving—the inner knowing that was always there beneath the conditioning. This step is about aligning with what is most true and life-giving for you, unfolding your most precious qualities, being nourished by your values and your essence and authentically sharing them with the world.
13.
Create Systems of Continued Care and Co-Regulation
We complete the journey by helping you build sustainable, ongoing support systems—so you can continue to grow, heal, and co-regulate long after the group ends. We have many opportunities within our school and with our programs and mentors, but if something else is needed – we can help you along connecting with other specialists. Our wish for you is that you fully thrive in our school and beyond.
Healing from decades of food suffering takes many paths and takes many seasons. It is our honor to be your guides in this season and we feel an even greater honor to connect you with others to support you in the seasons which will follow.

Frequently Asked
How soon can I start?
I am always enrolling a cohort. As soon as you come on a Clarity Call and we determine that the program is a good fit for you, you will begin usually within a month.
What if I miss a call with my group?
All calls are recorded and you can review any practices you missed with your teacher.
Does Galina teach all the groups?
Yes, I teach all the group sessions and lead Office Hours. Integration sessions, some Office Hours sessions and individual sessions are led by my team.
How can I experience working with Galina directly?
You can do this in each session and in our Office Hours. Galina is also available to work 1-1 with several individuals each year and requires that you have taken the 7 month group to work together.
What is the cost?
The full cost is $5800 or 10 payments of just $599 a month.
When do the groups meet?
Each group creates its own schedule based on the availability of the participants. We do our best to accommodate a mix of daytime and evening groups to fit participants in various time zones.
Do I have to read the book or have experience with nervous system work to participate?
You can come to this work at any level of experience – whether this is your first time with nervous system work or you are a somatic therapist yourself. The group sessions are tailored so everyone can benefit.
Will I gain/lose weight on this program?
Weight restoration or weight loss is not the goal of this program.
Our focus is on healing the nervous system and restoring your body’s natural signals—like hunger, fullness, rest, and impulses for movement.
While many participants experience positive health changes, we encourage you to release weight expectations and allow your body to find ease, balance, and self-trust first. From that place, sustainable choices naturally emerge and you can orient to engage the right team to support you in your weight restoration or weight loss goals.
